I'm Jamee.

My Story

Like many folks, I first came to acupuncture as a patient.  It had such an impact on my life, especially as I recovered from non-profit burnout, that I eventually made it my career.  My practice is informed by my identity as a queer, trans, non binary, Tagalog person living in the U.S.  To me being patient-centered includes the context of a person's identities, communities, and how they are able to navigate the world.  I work with people from a variety of backgrounds with a special affinity for supporting QTBIPOC in their wellness journeys.

When I'm not in clinic, I'm usually in the kitchen.  Food is a nourishing, magical, ancestral, decolonizing practice for me.  When I'm not in the kitchen I'm going on late night ice cream adventures, trying to make art, and consuming large amounts of scifi/fantasy media from queer and gender expansive Black and Brown creators.
